Hair Multiplication, sounds like a simple term but is it really a simple procedure and as popular as FUE? What does hair multiplication mean to the thousands suffering from baldness? Is it painless and stitch less as touted by other techniques that promise a healthy crop of tresses? Can hair multiplication rally be better than hair weaving, hair cloning, FUE and even prove feasible in terms of cost? According to expert opinion, multiplied hair grows as thick as normal hair and also provides new hair follicles from the activated stem cells. These cells then activate dormant hair and the cells can also be used to heal or regenerate skin. To elaborate further, a newborn has vellus hair where stem cells are gradually activated, making hair thicker. When these cells get deactivated, hair begins to thin again. The process of hair multiplication involves donor hair which can be referred to as plucked hair, or hair fragments, namely, the cut hair follicles, which are directly implanted into the scalp, to regenerate hair. Hair Multiplication has a success rate of 50% excellent results, 30% average and a minimal 20% which cannot be salvaged.
